Marketing Lead

We are looking for a Marketing Lead to join our R&D team and help us create and implement the marketing strategy for the B2B services being developed for specific technology and business domains in the USA.

At this point we are a team of 7 members, planning to expand by inviting a marketing lead. We behave as a cross-functional team, where people tend to use the “do more with less” principle. We combine different expertise and participate in all activities to some extent, striving towards a common goal.

First of all, we are looking for a great person to work with. We envision our new team member as a highly-motivated person who could drive rather than be driven, dream big, strive for a goal, and simply have fun from the work that they’re doing.

The tasks on the plate right now are:

• Developing and managing marketing strategy
• Set marketing goals, KPI, and objectives
• Developing a content plan and managing blog and website, cooperating with content writer
• Implementing SMM
• Working with Google Ads and LinkedIn Ads
• Setting up, measuring, optimizing, and scaling marketing campaigns
• Experimenting and testing new channels and marketing approaches
• Market trends research
• Developing marketing budgets, working on marketing ROI
• Building and managing the marketing team
• Mentoring junior specialists

As of now, you’ll primarily focus on R&D team goals, but later these activities will expand to the company level, so there is definitely potential for growth.

Required skills

• 3+ years of experience in B2B marketing
• Experience working in the IT industry
• Degree in marketing or economics
• Experience in marketing strategy development
• Excellent communication skills
• Proactive project management skills
• Experience using metrics for marketing performance measurement
• Hands-on experience in social media marketing and content management
• Excellent copywriting skills and knowledge of SMM mechanics
• Experience running A/B tests and optimizing campaigns through experimentation
• Experience working with Google’s marketing tools
• Strong analytical skills and ability to make data-driven decisions
• Strong planning skills with a sense of deadline and ownership
• At least Upper-Intermediate level of English

As a plus

• Knowledge of SEO mechanic
• Self-direction, and the ability to learn new concepts quickly
• Business acumen
